WELCOME TO AAF CONVENTION 2005!

Our 35^TH Alarm Association of Florida Convention and Trade Show is scheduled for this fall September 7-10, 2005 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. As with every annual convention, the Convention Committee has scheduled many exciting events and activities. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the day there will be a schedule of CE class HOURS provided for license holders. Thursday evening will be the President’s Reception to welcome everyone to the convention, followed by the traditional Hospitality Suite.

On Friday the Trade Show will be open from 10:00 am until 3:00 p.m. We have scheduled a special breakfast for all participating vendors in the 2005 show Friday morning from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Classes will be held BEFORE the show opens so there will be no conflict with show times for both members and non-members. There will be a several different CE classes for license holders extending over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to accommodate show time.  

This year we welcome some 70 exhibitors to display the latest products and to provide plenty of fantastic door prizes. In addition there is a cash prize of $1000 in the Exhibit Hall Friday and a $500 cash prize at the General Assembly Saturday morning. The highlight of the weekend is the awards presentation on Friday night of the Most Valuable Person of the Year. This year’s Friday evening Gala is a Circus THEME DINNER. The Hospitality Suite will be open after dinner for those who choose to attend. The entire weekend will be filled with education, exhibits, recreation, fun and fellowship. You won’t want to miss it. So plan now to attend and bring the family to enjoy the Orlando area.
