RE: Florida AlarmPAC Contributions
Dear Members,
The Alarm Association of Florida continuously works to support legislative action for our industry. Quite simply, this member service costs money. Our Board of Directors has established the ‘Florida AlarmPAC’ for this purpose. Our AlarmPAC needs your help each year raising funds for lobbying efforts and campaign contributions.
If alone you had to devote the time and money to legislative issues regarding your business, what would you have to invest? To move the legislative process along and make your issues known to legislators requires funding and this is a significant part of our annual budget as we prepare for each legislative year.
The Alarm Association of Florida represents hundreds of security contractors and thousands of their employees to legislators in Tallahassee and they hear us ONLY through effective lobbying. Our lobbyist, Eric Prutsman of Prutsman & Stahl, has served us admirably in this regard for many years protecting and promoting our industry.
We ask that you join our ‘Legislative Strike Force’ and contribute. All contributions, regardless of size are welcome. Naturally all contributions will be recognized in each issue of the “Handshake” and new contributors will receive recognition at our Board and Assembly meetings. Please fill out the attached contribution form and return it to us at the office address below. Do NOT depend on others to contribute. We need your help and contributions now.
Members contributing $200.00 dollars or more will be designated a ‘Captain’ along with a handsome donor certificate. A sum of $500.00 or more entitles you to the rank of ‘Colonel’ with a certificate of recognition for you and your company. Those endowing our legislative effort with $1000.00 or more will be commissioned as a ‘Commander’ of this elite campaign along with an “Award for Meritorious Service”. Join us and send this critical contribution today! Thank you for your efforts.
